My First Art Show: "The Collection"

During the SHSU fall semester, Nic Campbell was taking a painting class from an instructor named Valerie Powell, while I was in the W.A.S.H. program.  During the beginning portion of the semester Nic expressed to Valerie his desire to put together an art exhibition in the LSC gallery but he also voiced that at the time he did not feel he had enough work to do a solo show.  Professor Powell recommended other student artists, Jay Cronin and myself, to assist Nic in his exhibition.  Nic contacted Jay and myself, and within two weeks of meeting each other we were able organize our show known as "The Collection."
